This set is the
AMERICAN FLYER SET 20525 -- THE DEFENDER TRAIN
SET in
EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT++ CONDITION
and is  RARE as it was produced only in 1959.
THIS SET HAS BEEN IN MY COLLECTION FOR 25+ YEARS AND HAS NOT BEEN RUN DURING THAT TIME.
The set includes:
The AF (21)234 C&Q GP-7 DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE WITH AUTOMATIC RINGING BELL that is in  EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ CONDITION. The  graphics are crisp, complete and all original.
The set has all the correct cars -- 24557 U.S. Navy flatcar with 2 jeeps; (25056) USM/rocket launcher combination of operating boxcar and flatcar which was only put in the 1959 set, 24549 Erie floodlight flatcar, and the 24631 AFL yellow caboose.  They are all in  EX/EX++ condition. The graphics are original, sharp and complete. There is no rust or any damage to the cars.
The set box is original and is in good condition but does have some stains on the bottom and wear and tape on the top (see photos). The set box number is clear and readable. The set box is #B-2N707.
The set has all the accessories and related paper.
