Description
This is a Czech made reproduction of a German army WW1 M16 helmet liner with cowhide pads. The band is made of leather with the cutouts for the inside vent fixing washers. The liner band does not have the rivet holes since not all rivet holes on the helmet were at the exact same location. The seam of the helmet goes on the back of the helmet and then you can make the holes for the liner where the holes on your helmet are. The holes for the rivets should be made in the exact center of the band for the best fit. The nice extra is that I supply the pads for this liner. Several other sellers sell the set of 3 pads for over . On top of that my pads are filled with artificial fibers so smell and moth damage will not be a problem. This particular liner is for the size 66 helmet shell that fits both the size 58 and 59 hat sizes. The string holding the pads in the liner may vary. It is only to ship this liner anywhere in the US, Canada, Australia, NZ and most of Asia. Postage within the EU is .50. Naturally I do offer the possibility of combining postage to save you money. When you buy a chinstrap and/or helmet rivets you only pay postage for the liner. The color of the cord holding the pads and the cloth may vary in tone.
