    Description

    This three-place WWI post-war ribbon bar includes ribbons for the following awards:
    Prussian Iron Cross 2nd Class
    Duchy of
    Braunschweig
    War Merit Cross 2nd Class
    Honor Cross (1914-18) for Combatants
    The steel bracket is genuine.  The die-cast device and ribbons are post-war replicas. The bar is backed with field-gray wool.
    Please note the detail on the bronze swords device.  It is a die cast replica based on an original in my collection.
    This ribbon bar includes the awards awarded to my paternal grandfather, a sergeant in the 78th Infantry Regiment (
    Herzog Friedrich Wilhelm von Braunschweig
    ).
