Description
Here is a very nice Marblehead Pottery undecorated vase in one of their classic hand thrown shapes. It is covered in a smooth and even speckled matte gray glaze. The pottery was founded in Massachusetts by Dr Herbert Hall, run by Arthur Baggs, and dates to about 1915. This piece measures 5 inches in diameter at the widest and 3 1/8 inches tall. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, just one tiny wrinkle in the glaze. Marked on the bottom with the firms die-stamped MP with ship and waves mark. A good piece by a great New England Arts & Crafts Art Pottery.
