You are looking at a vintage American Flyer Model 9 transformer.  The 9
has 150  watts of power and one controller AND A POORT FOR YOUR WHISTLE CONTROLLER.
This is NOT one you see very often. The only catalog reference I can find is in the 1938 catalog. I believe it was made for Flyer by Jefferson Electric (also in Chicago), as Jefferson's own #535-191 looks awfully similar
.
(This is NOT the 9B dual control).

This one has been serviced and tested here at Lone Star Trains and is doing everything it should. We even replaced the old cord for you.
CONDITION:
Just serviced. Tested and works as it should. Has significant oxidation and scratches to metal plate face. Cord just replaced. SCROLL DOWN into the listing to see more pictures and to be able to ENLARGE.

If there is a problem, such as an error in description or condition, we accept returns within 30 days.
