1916 Style Pour Le Merite orinally designed by Jeweler Godet but copied by others.
Small central "Baroque" design for ring loop seen an most awards 1916 and after per decree from Kaiser Wilhelm II on November 16, 1916 along with darker blue than previous versions.....This design is seen on a majority of awardees from 1916 to 1960, when the last recipient retired from the Bundeswehr.
Good detail to eagles, with full spread design much better detail than most versions
Enamel precise and elegant...(both sides)
Proud to offer this piece--no marking I can see...looks very similar to Steinhauer & Lueck production
