This truly exquisite and well-detailed medal is a
replica
of the Prussian Order of the Crown with Swords Second Class – the Commander’s Cross.  It comes with a length of the proper Prussian black and white “war ribbon.”
The Order of the Crown (
Kronenorden
) was established in 1861 and  ranks with the Order of the Red Eagle.
M
embership in the order was limited to commissioned officers.
This beautiful two-sided medal measures 5 cm across and weighs 1.5 oz. / 42 grams.
It comes with a (ends unfinished) 12-inch length of the appropriate 55 mm (wide) ribbon (reproduction).
