When used properly within your pond and pump flow, these Uvinex systems can also assist in the control of parasites and bacteria providing clean, safe, pristine water without hurting fish or plants. Savio's Coated bulb technology does away with fragile glass sleeves and is virtually maintenance free - simply wipe clean with a damp cloth to restore full effectiveness
Savio Uvinex UV clarifiers can easily be added to the Savio SkimmerFilters! This UV light quickly increases the effectiveness of your filtration system, effectively controlling water borne algae and preventing the spread of disease by killing bacteria. This integrated approach costs less than buying a separate standalone component and is easier to maintain. Important Note: If you have an older compact SkimmerFilter manufactured before 2007 then this Uvinex System will require a special Retrofit Bracket for mounting into the skimmer.
