Vintage American Flyer 466 Comet Train Set with Original Boxes

Vintage American Flyer 466 Comet Train Set with Original Boxes. Condition is "Used" but in "Very Good" condition. The cars are 960 Baggage, 962 Vista Dome & 963 Observation. The Diesel has been tested and runs well. This is the Decal version of 466. I do not know if this version had a reverse mode but this Diesel moves only forward. There is some rusting on only the ladder sections on Diesel. The Knuckle Couplers on all cars and Diesel function except the rear coupler on Diesel does not stay closed when pulling cars. I believe a replacement coupler is available on line for approx. .00. All cars have retained chrome except the Baggage car which time has treated the most poorly of the set. I have attached photos showing the chrome loss. The lights on Diesel function properly as do the lights on Observation Car. The lights are not functioning in 960 & 962. All silhouettes are in place. Original boxes and Diesel wrapping material are in remarkable condition given its age and is included in the auction. The product is sold AS IS. The train will ship to the continental USA. NO International sales.
