Shoe Sizing Rule
.   This rule unfolds to be used as a caliper for measuring feet to determine shoe sizes.   The numbers are all hand-stamped.   I rate this ruler in
GOOD - CONDITION
overall.   A prior owner modified one of the sliding jaws which was chipped.  They added a piece of wood so that it no longer will fold up completely flat which gives it a more primitive look.  Uncleaned as found.
The markings and numbers are a bit difficult to read.  Still, an interesting example of a shoe sizing rule by this early New York City rule maker
for you to add to your antique measuring tool collection!
