Vintage Redware MARBLEHEAD TILEWORKS Accent Tile TRIVET - PUFFIN - Sea Bird 6x6

Description

This fun vintage tile depicts the Puffin seabird in profile.  The rich blue background frames the bird done in black and
creamy
white,
with accents of brown, caramel and yellow.  "
Marblehead Tileworks" is stamped into the clay on
the back.
It was purchased in Maine in 2002.  It is in great condition since it was used for display only.  There are some tiny pin dots in the
black glaze as part of the firing process.  I never noticed them until I was photographing the tile.
Size:  Approx. 6" x 6" x 1/2"
There are 4 small cork pads attached to the back to prevent scratching, and a notched slot for hanging.
