Vintage STANLEY No. 76 C Boxwood & Brass Folding Caliper Rule
This is a vintage 24"
STANLEY RULE & LEVEL CO. No. 76 C
four-fold, broad sized, boxwood and brass bound
Carpenters' rule
with brass caliper and square joint.   This is not a common rule at all and is similar to the Stanley No. 83 C, except it is much more scarce.  I rate this ruler in
FAIR CONDITION
overall.  It is missing all alignment pins, but still folds up nice and tight.   Cleaned and ready for display.   The boxwood is darker than most rules from staining.  Most of the numbers and markings are difficult to read.  The brass caliper works good.   An uncommon example this Stanley caliper rule for you to add to your antique measuring tool collection!
