German Bavarian Helmet Wappen with an aged silver finish. This is the correct insignia for various Technical or Guard type units for the German/ Bavarian Enlisted Army Soldiers 1914 Pickelhaube helmets.

as see in the first couple of pictures the repro plate fits good on my replica Pickelhaube helmet. You may need to poke an opening to place it on your helmet.
